Wishing a festive holiday to everyone who is celebrating today.The image is the earliest known depiction of an Easter bunny in the Americas. It is thought to be by a Pennsylvania schoolmaster (originally from Germany), Johann Conrad Gilbert. It's on display at the Winterthur Museum in Delaware, which only recently acquired it.
